Digipak drafts



These were our original drafts that are very different to each other. We liked ideas from both drafts, so we decided to mix the ideas together, which is how we cam up with this album cover.



We then looked into the typography a little bit. However, we already had a strong idea on what we wanted the typography to look like, so we decided to justify it.

All of the starred (*) ideas are the ideas we chose to use.

FINAL Digipak Product - amended

Front Back  Inlay 1  Inlay 2 Middle Extra panel/side panel I decided to alter the albums titles typography and added more texture to the background colour scheme as I wanted to make the cover look less 2D; like it has layers. I decided to use the white bubble writing instead as it is more soft and calm compared to the yellow typography. It also matches the colour scheme better to create a nice harsh contrast instead of the colours clashing. After creating the new front cover, I asked a few people which cover they prefer. Everyone said they prefer the new cover (this one), which is why I decided to use the new version as my final product. Those who I asked varied in age as I asked a small group of friends, my parents, and my Nan. Prototype:
